Brighterkind Care Homes
In a rapid refurbishment roll out programme under tight budgets we were asked to create an series of interior scheme designs to be rolled out over several of Brighterkind care homes nationwide. 18 receptions were given a new identity and a design for bedrooms and living and dining areas of 11 care homes. The aim was to banish the institutional and bring homely comfort by using colourful domestic style furnishings while still remaining practical and functional.

Several reception colourways were designed to create both a brand standard and identity but also to ensure that the schemes suited a range of homes. New painted timber panelling with decorative colourful papers used to add in character with a welcoming open reception counter which added a focal point, with the intention to ensure these entrances felt like you were entering a home.
